We work to ensure that all ftm men and SLGBTQI individuals are provided food, shelter, a space for individual expression/creativity and celebration - the basic necessities in life and the things we believe truly make this world complete, exciting and serving to all.
We partner with local community church, school & universities, and social groups to aid in our goal of awareness, advocacy and social change. Our advocacy program includes transmen of all ages and stages of the ftm transition as well as members in the SLGBTQI community. Our program is made successful through one on one, group and peer to peer relationships that are available online, by phone and in person. Transitioning from female to male is an important passage that deserves relentless support. Our organizational focus is to provide this much needed support in all ways possible
Founded in a celebration of diversity, the East Bay Meditation Center welcomes everyone seeking to end suffering and cultivate happiness. Our mission is to foster liberation, personal and interpersonal healing, social action, and inclusive community building. We offer mindfulness practices and teachings on wisdom and compassion from Buddhist and other spiritual traditions. Rooted in our commitment to diversity, we operate with transparent democratic governance, generosity-based economics, and environmental sustainability.
A space for cross-cultural dialogue on all aspects of diversity. Students are encouraged to challenge their pre-conceived ideas, biases, and –isms around race, class, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, body types, and ability. F.E.A.R.'s goal is to enhance participants’ consciousness about the experiences of others as well as promoting a campus climate that values diversity, difference, inclusion, and social justice issues.
Works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence. SRLP is a collective organization founded on the understanding that gender self-determination is inextricably intertwined with racial, social and economic justice. Therefore, they seek to increase the political voice and visibility of low-income people and people of color who are transgender, intersex, or gender non-conforming. SRLP works to improve access to respectful and affirming social, health, and legal services for our communities. They believe that in order to create meaningful political participation and leadership, we must have access to basic means of survival and safety from violence.

Trans Bodies, Trans Selves is a resource guide for the transgender population, covering health, legal issues, cultural and social questions, history, theory, and more. It is a place for transgender and gender-questioning people, their partners and families, students, professors, guidance counselors, and others to look for up-to-date information on transgender life. Each chapter will be written by a separate transgender or genderqueer author, but to provide consistency of layout, message and tone, authors will be given guidelines and will work closely with the editor. The book will be aimed at a general transgender and gender-questioning audience, and when using complicated language, will provide definitions and explanations. The tone will be friendly and fun, and will promote trans-positive, feminist, anti-racist, and genderqueer advocacy. Short opinion pieces and testimonials will be included in each section. Anonymous quotes from transgender and gender-variant people will also be included. These will be gathered from this website's survey.
